Tandem CEO, Alex Mollart, has urged the Government to provide more support to customer so they can start their green transition.  

Tandem is on a mission to fight climate change by providing support and expertise to customers on their journey to a more sustainable lifestyle. Tandem believes highlighting the scale of the challenge for UK consumers to Government figures of influence is an important part of its mission, encouraging collaboration to affect real change across the nation.

Commenting on the tracker, Alex Mollart, CEO of Tandem Bank, said:

“For the past nine months, Tandem's Green Gap has consistently demonstrated that consumers need support right across the board if they are to start their green transition.

“Pace has slowed to an almost standstill as consumers chose more immediate priorities over retrofitting their homes.

“The Prime Minister recently spoke of ‘painful decisions’ and times ahead, but I hope he will see the need to take a long-term strategic view and increase support for consumers and the green agenda – in a measurable, realistic way. Not just unachievable targets.”
